Police-Spec Diesel Jaguar XF Moves to 100 in 5.9 Sec

Jaguar’s Police-spec Diesel XF, may soon be chasing down UK scofflaws on Bunnell’s “World’s Wildest Police Chases” TV show. The Police-spec XF’s 3.0L turbo diesel offers 271 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Even with acceleration to 100 kmh taking 5.9 sec, the sedan returns 6.7 liters per 100 km.

The XF is undergoing evaluation by police forces across the UK, and Jaguar UK managing director Geoff Cousins say “We will meet and exceed the exacting standards of any Police Officer driving this car,” Cousins said in a press release today.
