The respected designer of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, Sang Yup Lee has resigned from General Motors and is on his way to accept a position as Chief Designer of Exterior at the Volkswagen/Audi Advanced studio in California.
Lee will take up his new position which commences next month and will report to Jens Manske, Executive Design Director and is apparently charged with inspiring the merged design division.

Well, we’re sad to see Lee go after helping to resurrect one of America’s most iconic muscle cars of all times. The Chevy Camaro that is. Here’s hoping he creates more muscle monsters at his new VW design studio.
