Genuine Parts Now Easily Available At Exclusive Proton Stockist

Proton Holdings Berhad’s local marketing arm, Proton Edar Sdn Bhd today announces a nationwide branding exercise for the establishment of Exclusive Proton parts Stockist outlets, in line with its mission to provide its customers with excellent experience.

Apart from providing a platform for its customers to confidently purchase Genuine Parts, the establishment of Exclusive Proton Parts Stockist is aimed at eliminating confusion over imitation parts sold at genuine parts prices.

A launching ceremony was held today at the maiden Exclusive proton Parts Stockist outlet, AME Auto Parts Sdn. Bhd. in Sea Park, Petaling Jaya. AME Auto parts, who has had a 25 years history with PROTON as a Proton stockist, takes a new development as a positive move by PROTON to build the PROTON brand further.

Present to launch the outlet was Proton Edar Sdn Bhd Chief Executive Officer, Mohamad Shukor Ibrahim.

For Branding uniformity and easy identification, all Exclusive Proton Parts Stockists will feature a uniformed PROTON corporate image on their premises. Consistent experience in business dealings within the network will also be ensured by having a standard operating procedure with direct control and monitoring by PROTON over all outlets within the network.

According to Mohamad Shukor, “Customer satisfaction is our top priority and this includes providing Proton owners with excellent after-sales service using genuine, high quality parts. In line with our mission to provide customers with excellent ownership experience, it is our responsibility to provide a strong platform for customers to purchase Genuine Parts, without having to worry about being short-changed with imitation parts at normal authentic parts prices.”

He Added that the whole exercise not only elevates the PROTON brand but also takes advantage of the brand’s established recognition to help customers get hold of original Proton Genuine Parts, especially those with expired warranty period cars or those with Proton vehicles aged above 5 years.

By end of 2010 PROTON aims to establish 13 Exclusive Proton Parts Stockists at all major towns in each state nationwide, beginning with three Exclusive Proton Parts Stockists in the Klang Valley. AME Parts is the first, and will be followed by two other stockists in Kuala Lumpur. PROTON aims to establish 50 exclusive Proton parts Stockists in all states nationwide by 2013.
