The debut of Volkswagen Scirocco Cup in Malaysia enables car enthusiasts and consumers in Southeast Asia to truly feel the infinite charm of this racing event, understand the dynamism and vigor of the Volkswagen brand and witness the excellent racing skills of Chinese young drivers.

“We are so excited to see the outstanding performance of Chinese drivers on the Sepang International Circuit. That shows the rapid improvement of Chinese drivers’ racing skills. Based on the success of the 2009 event, the Scirocco Cup China 2010 has further enhanced the scale and standard”, said Mr. Weiming Soh, Member of the Board of Management, Executive Vice President of Volkswagen Group China. “We have brought this single-brand event overseas for the first time in order to further convey Volkswagen’s brand values of innovation and responsibility to the public”, added Mr. Soh.

The biggest highlight of this stop is that Chinese driver Wang Jianwei from China mainland has won the champion. “I’m so happy and excited that I can win the champion of Scirocco Cup China Sepang Stop in Malaysia.
