VW has finally decided in giving the long-awaited BlueSport, the green light for production! It was just a few days back since we’ve heard on the squabbles between the three automakers namely Porsche, VW and Audi as to who will actually produce this car.
Now, it is with great pleasure that the car has confirmed to go for production and some have even witnessed the final version of this car; lucky them. The Bluesport will come with a 178bhp, 2.0L Turbo-Diesel engine as standard, though a variety of other engines will be available too, which will include the twin-charged 1.4L four-cylinder gasoline engine found in the Polo GTI as well as the turbo 2.0L gasoline engine from the Golf GTI.
Until this piece of machinery can be seen cruising down roads, we will take the news with a pinch of salt till VW actually makes an official announcement and puts this car into production!
