With the exterior paint coated in any colour of choice and the cockpit adorned by simply whatever taste desired by the owner, the BRABUS Ultimate 112 is a machine to savour for a lifetime.

Based on the Smart ForTwo Cabrio, this limited edition, exclusive work of art carries the most significant number – 112, which represents the 112hp the engine produces and the production run of only 112 units worldwide.

The ULTIMATE 112 is simply the ultimate city sports car. And as such it represents a unique combination of extravagant equipment, sporty performance and agile handling, and all these, the BRABUS way.

This extremely rare, one-of-a-kind machine is on display at the Main Concrouse Area of the Bangsar Shopping Complex until Sunday (Aug 15), from 10am to 10pm.

In addition to the custom paint the BRABUS ULTIMATE 112 sets itself further apart with a muscular body kit that includes a front spoiler, rocker panels and BRABUS WIDESTAR fender flares for front and back.

The glossy black BRABUS Monoblock VI double-spoke wheels are mounted on the front axle in size 7Jx18 with size 205/35 R 18 high-performance tyres.

In the rear 8.5Jx18 wheels with size 235/30 R 18 tyres provide plenty of grip to transfer the power of the engine to the road.

A set of height-adjustable BRABUS coil-over suspension completes the handling package of the 112. With these modifications the ULTIMATE 112 offers the perfect platform for the powerful BRABUS three-cylinder turbo engine. As the exclusive special model’s name reveals, the engine produces 112hp at 5,750rpm.

Even more important for everyday driving is the for this vehicle class exceptional peak torque of 150Nm available over a wide rev range from 3,300 to 3,900rpm.

Shifting in the BRABUS ULTIMATE 112 is done either automatically or with steering-wheel paddles just like in Formula 1 racing. The paddles are mounted to an ergonomically shaped BRABUS sport steering wheel.

With sprint times from 0 –60kph in just 3.9 seconds and with the car hitting the 100kph in 9.5 seconds, the car’s top speed has been electronically-limited to 170kph.

This performance is accompanied acoustically by the BRABUS stainless-steel sport exhaust and its dual tailpipes made from cast aluminum.

Exquisite highlights also abound in the interior of the ULTIMATE 112: The especially soft and breath-able BRABUS Mastik leather is stitched with colour-contrasting seams.

The BRABUS interior concept includes embossed BRABUS emblems as well as the instrument panel, instrument bezels, tachometer, speedometer, clock, turn-signal lever and door handles, all colour-coordinated with the exterior.

Stainless-steel foot pedals with anti-slip padding together with an aluminum shifter and emergency brake lever add touches of racing atmosphere.

A climate control system, radio and a navigation system are also part of the standard equipment of this open two-seater.

And this very special and exclusive city sports car is retailing for a very exclusive price of RM 580,000. It is the only one of its kind in the WORLD and was specially tailor made by NAZA Group of Companies Joint Group Executive Chairman Dato’ Hj SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin.

Dato’ SM Faisal described the ULTIMATE 112 as an example of the BRABUS exclusive customization program, which could be extended to other Mercedes Benz models.

He further added that the roadshow held at the Bangsar Shopping Complex was a way for the brand to reach its customers, with the improved and contemporary line-up as a move to enhance the BRABUS experience to them.

“With BRABUS, we sell a particular lifestyle, something that would appeal to those who want to be exclusive and special, with the same durable and reliable German technology built into them. This constantly requires introducing a full range of vehicles from this niche and extremely exclusive marquee,” he said.

Additionally, the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra CGI performance kits offer powerful engine tuning for the Mercedes 200, 250 and 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY models with direct-injection gasoline engines.

The tuning unleashes the true power inherent in these eco-friendly engines – without jeopardizing the built-in safety reserves.

The most powerful direct-injection gasoline engine from Mercedes-Benz at present, the 3.5-liter V6 in the C 350, CLS 350 and E 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY models, produces an additional 18hp.

Performance of these models sees a marked improvement, with the top speed having increased from 250kph to 267kph.
