Hi Sambarath, did you mean how much it costs to fill up the Optra 1.8A from the reserve tank onwards? A full tank of petrol would cost between RM90 – RM100 for RON95 petrol. Thats roughly about 50-55 litres of fuel, but this is just an estimate since the fuel tank is capable of holding 60L of fuel. Hope this helps.

Hi Sam,
You’re most welcome! Apologies for the mis-interpretation earlier. For your best interest, it would be more prudent for you to contact Chevy’s personnel on that note, because we’re really not Chevy’s representative nor are we their spare parts vendor.
If i may suggest, search for “Chevrolet Malaysia” within Facebook, they’ve got their contacts details under the Info tab, including a toll free number: 1-800-2-24389.
Best of luck to you Sam.

Good question. How is the reliability of your Chevy at the moment? Any major issues anyone would like to point out?

Hi Tim, we’re pretty confident that the Chevy personnel should be able to provide you with an answer on that.
Here’s the FB link to Chevrolet Malaysia’s page where you should be able to obtain the necessary info for you to get in contact with them. http://www.facebook.com/MYChevrolet?v=info
Do let us know how it went.
Best of luck to you

I am David Tai, owner of OPTRA 1.8. I send my car for service in Feb 2011 at Cergazam Petaling Jaya and inform that the power sterling pump is not working and requested to change and replace a new one.
To my surprise, they told me they do not have stock available. I order and book for the pump. I called and follow up with Ah Tek, the parts person in Cergazam. Every time he will tell me stock not arrive.
They did not advise me what wil happen to the car if I were to continue driving the car with the faulty power sterling pump. On 16 March 2011 approximately 7.05 am, while am driving to work,, the pump burst and the belt snapped into the timing belt and my car broke down near Muzeum Negara.
I called AAM and they told me the pump burst need to tow to workshop. I called Ah Tek and told him the car broke down cause of the pump burst. To my surprise he told me I can send my car over and get ot replace. My question why teh car broke down, there are stock available. AAM tow truck tow my car to Cergazam and reach there before 10.30 am and by 4.30 pm I called and check on the car, they told me my car could not be started and need over-hauled.
My car is lying idle in the workshop since 16 March 2011 and nothing has been done. They told me one of the parts is not available and need to wait at least 3 to 4 weeks for the parts to arrive.
To me by then, my car will only be ready in 2 – 3 months time. To me this is ridiculous. Dont they keep their stock????
They have been selling cars to many people on the road, and please dont tell me they dont keep stock??? and only will order when someone car broke-down.
I have been renting a car for my daily use and who is going to bear this cost?????
I need the top management of Cergazam and Naza Quest to answer this..
