Welcome to the dark-side of engineering, where mad figures are achieved, and sinister looks have been created. G-Power has remade the E60 M5 Hurricane, into something that more strongly emulates such a given name and then renames it to the M5 Hurricane RR.
This ‘force of nature’ has 800bhp under it’s hood, and now has the audacity to claim that it is now The fastest sedan in the world. It’s V10 Twin-supercharged engine now commands an additional 25% of more air per cylinder-bank. Thankfully, the innards of the engine has been reworked and properly balanced to ensure durability for that 25% of additional gale-force winds entering the engine.
The matte-black natural disaster on wheels has a top speed of 370kmh (claimed) and 0-100kmh acceleration figures stands at 4.35s and 0-200kmh takes just 9.5s. For a 2 tonne sedan, it sure is quick, but so is a massive hurricane!
With G-Power’s claims of it being the fastest 4-door sedan currently, we suppose it’ll be wearing the crown till Bugatti’s Gallibier is unveiled or another speed-demon emerges from the depths of the supercharge or turbo realm. The Gallibier is supposed to tip the speed figures over the 400kmh notch, but either way, the crown will surely get usurped by anther tuner or manufacturer in the near future and turning it into a door-knob simply because everyone seems to want a ‘turn’ at it.
