It seems that total of 25 Ferraris, three Lamborghinis, and a Cizeta, among other rare supercars are being sold by a broker in New Zealand. While there are many wealthy collectors of exotic supercars, few can rival the secretive collection of the royal house of Brunei. The Sultan is notorious for his love of cars and is believed to be in possession of more than 5,000 luxury and performance models.
With only occasional leaks betraying its contents, the Sultan’s amazing amass has apparently now gone up for sale. Well, part of it at least.
The New Zealand based broker is not disclosing the liquidating owner, but very few people other than the Sultan of Brunei and his controversial brother Prince Jefri could have amassed such an assembly of exotica including an Enzo, F50 and F40, a pair of Daytonas, a 575 Superamerica, a 512 TR Spyder, a 355 Challenge in race and regular spec, the Lamborghini Diablo SE30, two Countach 25th Anniversary Editions, Porsche 964 911 Turbo S Leichtbaus and the Italdesign V12 Nazca.
Amazingly, each vehicle was ordered brand new from the factory and delivered to the owner who, for some reason, never drove them. They are now all rumored to be parked somewhere in Singapore pending sale in New Zealand dollars.
Easily one of the most valuable collections put up for sale, it seems Christmas has come early for millionaires car collectors. For those of us without the deep pockets to afford the now up for sale collection, the most we can do is sneak a good long peek at the images in the gallery below.
