Not sure if the neon body paint is going to make into production but the whole car looks promising. As a crossover based on the 208 hatchback, the car looks sharp and elegant, especially with the front and rear bumper, futuristic head and rear lights design, black front grille and of course, the head-turner wing mirrors. What’s not to like?

Although there has been rumours saying that the crossover will be getting a gasoline-electric hybrid drivetrain, Peugeot has decided not to disclose on the matter yet. If the rumours are true, the 2008 will be the first Peugeot ever to run on a gasoline-hybrid engine.

From the official images, the car certainly sports a muscular, dauntless look with its sharp and refined body lines. So keep your fingers crossed, Peugeot fans.
