Lexus has issued a stop-sale on their LS 460 and LS 600h luxury sedans due to a problem with their electronic steering system, which can temporarily cause the steering wheel to become off-centered, but thankfully, it will return to its original center after FIVE seconds worth of life-threatening panic and screaming whilst on the road.

Toyota issued the recall on Friday, 21st May 2010 in order to address the defect, but although Toyota has claimed to have fixed the problem, especially for cars fresh out of the Japanese plant.

Roughly 3,800 vehicles of both 2009 and 2010 LS sedans have been affected and owners are being urged not to turn the steering rapidly after holding it in full-lock in the opposite direction.

To do that would be tremendously difficult to avoid. Not to mention irritating.
