It’s always sunny in Philadelphia. The sun never sets on the British Empire. Japan is the Land of the Rising Sun. The latest unveiling from Nissan shows another Sunny side in Guangzhou, China, where the wraps have been lifted off their latest global compact family sedan.
Called the Sunny in the Chinese market and manufactured there by joint-venture with the Dongfeng Motor Company, the global model will be sold around the world under a variety of different nameplates.
Well, whatever it’s called, the Sunny is projected to be a class leader in fuel economy, carrying a 1.5-litre engine mated to a continuously variable transmission with MacPherson struts up front and a torsion beam rear suspension.
Sounds pretty enticing for a family man doesn’t it? Check out the images for this family sedan for yourself.
