Since the opening of Porsche Centre Beijing Central in 2001, China has grown to become the second largest market for Porsche worldwide, achieving stunning growth over the past decade, from 27 cars sold in 2002, to 13,856 last year.
To honour its tenth year milestone in the Chinese market, Porsche is unleashing a special anniversary edition of its 911 Turbo S.
The limited edition will be distinguished by a Gold Bronze Metallic exterior paint job with contrasting accents in matte carbon and high-gloss black on the 19″ Sport Classic wheels.
Inside, the gold and black theme continues, with a combination of leather and Alcantara filling the cabin. There is also a golden stitching and more carbon fibre are used on the door panels and sills. Each model will be uniquely numbered placed on the right side wheel arch.
Similar to the standard model, power is provided by a turbocharged 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine which delivers 530 bhp, 516 lb-ft of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed PDK transmission and all wheel drive configuration.
Keep on drooling because there will only be 10 units available for the Chinese market and sales will begin in June 2011.
