South Korean vehicle manufacturer Hyundai has come up with a rather interesting method of promoting their latest Hyundai i30 model in the Netherlands, and that is through the hypnotic powers wielded by professional hypnotist, Peter Powers.

Powers was tasked to come up with a novel method of pushing the Hyundai i30′s desirability level up by several notches to the masses, and his attempt resulted in the “Online Hypnosis Experiment” that is actually a 15 minute immersive video that was intended to be viewed in full screen glory while wearing a pair of headphones. And to make sure you’re going to watch it, the South Korean automaker tells us that it would be extremely illegal to be broadcast on television.

The project initiates viewers with a trailer showing three women falling in love with the i30 – both emotionally and physically.

Viewers can then try the online hypnosis experiment for themselves on a dedicated Dutch website at but only after they read and agree to the disclaimer, which among other things, states that you have to be over 18, you do not suffer from physical, psychological or mental health problems and that you’re watching the clip from the Netherlands (even though it’s actually available for all…).
