Ahead of the Formula One Chinese Grand Prix this weekend, World Champion Sebastian Vettel took the time to star in a martial arts short film alongside Hollywood actress and martial arts expert, Celina Jade.

Titled ‘Kung Fu Vettel: Drive of the Dragon’, the filming took place in a studio just outside of Shanghai where Vettel learned some Kung Fu moves from Jade.

After filming, the couple switched roles and headed out to Tianma circuit where Vettel took Jade out for some performance driving lessons in an Infiniti G Coupe. So this is what Vettel is doing instead of getting ready for this Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix huh…

The film is due for release in early May and serves as the first in a series of Infiniti’s new ‘Inspired Performers’ films which will see Vettel and Red Bull Racing team mate Mark Webber swapping skills with various athletes and performers who are also at the top of their respective fields.

Commenting on the event, Vettel said, “Well that was the first time I’ve acted in a martial arts movie and it was great fun. It was something totally new for me which was good as I always like new challenges and experiences. I learned that just like with driving, you need balance, control and technique to be good at Kung Fu, but I think I’ll still stick to my usual kind of fighting on the track on Sunday!”
