Kia will once again team up with one of the biggest comics giant, DC Entertainment, to produce yet another show car that will be displayed at the coming Chicago Auto Show on 7th to 8th February at McCormack Place, Chicago, Illinois.
Kia recently teased us with a single drawing of the show car featuring a Superman themed K5 Optima Hybrid complete with red and blue paint scheme and Superman’s shield on the hood.
Back at the 2012 SEMA Show, Kia displayed various comic character inspired models that include the Batman Optima, Aquaman Rio, Flash Forte Koup, Green Lantern Soul and Cyborg Forte.
These show cars were produced in support of “We Can be Heroes” and will be auctioned off with the proceeds intended to bring help and hope to the children, women and families affected by drought and famine in the Horn of Africa.
The 2013 Chicago Auto Show is just around the corner and Kia Motors America, in partnership with DC Entertainment, will unveil a new Justice League-inspired custom ride… the Superman Optima Hybrid! The 10-month long partnership has already produced five character-themed Kia vehicles – Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg and Green Lantern — in support of “We Can Be Heroes”, DC Entertainment’s giving campaign to bring help and hope to the children, women and families affected by drought and famine in the Horn of Africa.
