BMW Speak Green! Communications Plan 03

The winners of BMW Speak Green! Photo and Communications Plan competition have been announced. Justin Yeo Seng Seong, Wong Jia Shawn, Teo Ee Shang and Hue Jia Wei from Taylor’s University School of Communications emerged as winners for the Communication Plans competition for their campaign called ‘Guess The Fuel Challenge’ and as for the Photo contest, Syed Farouk Alshabab takes the crown home with his composition “Maximum Efficiency, Maximum Potential”.

The BMW Speak Green! Campaign, which was organized together with Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus is aimed to raise awareness on the importance of sustainability and leading an energy efficient lifestyle amongst university students. Sashi Ambi, Head of Corporate Communications of BMW Group Malaysia also added that the BMW Speak Green! Campaign will be carried out at other local universities and colleges throughout the year to further promote the cause among the students.

‘Guess The Fuel Challenge’ is a communications campaign devised by Justin, Wong, Teo and Hue to promote the philosophies of sustainability that has been a core motive since BMW Group’s Efficient Dynamics was first introduced.

For the Communications Plan contest, second place went to Beatrice Tan Su Mei, Edwin Chen Wai Lam, Choy Yew Choon and Magdalene Ho Oon Mei for their ‘Diesel – the misconception/ Go Further with Less Cost’ campaign while ‘Changing Mindsets: Power, Comes With Great Responsibility’ campaign inspired by Suresh Raj, Wong Kuan Qai, Kingston Lo, Megat Muhammad Nazrin and Adem Khaled took the third place.

Meanwhile, Mohamad Reza and the duo of Lucas Yap Shau Wei and Aaron Wong Ngit Jun were announced as second and third place winners for their “There’s no prize for compromise” and “Green is mean! And it is clean! Part tree, part car, but it goes just as far!” compositions in the Photo contest.

All winners received Limited Edition BMW Lifestyle Merchandises.
