Acura NSX Prototype

Spectators at the Honda Indy 200 IndyCar Series race at Mid-Ohio Raceway are most likely to be left in awe when the Acura NSX prototype makes its first ever run in public.

The prototype, dressed in custom decals will lap the road course prior to the race on the 4th August 2013. Although the car still has two years before its expected launch, we do know that the prototype will be running on a mid-mounted V6 engine helped by the auto maker’s three-motor Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system.

As reported, the NSX will be assembled at the company’s USD70 million Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio.
