The Panamera and Panamera 4 gets a 10 hp bump up from its 3.6 litre V6 engine which now produces 310 hp at 6,200 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm. This reduces fuel consumption on both variants by 10 percent to a combined NDEC of just 8.4 litre per 100 km.

The Diesel variant is equipped with a 3.0 litre V6 turbo diesel engine with variable turbine geometry that outputs 250 hp between 3,800 to 4,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 550 Nm between 1,750 to 2,750 rpm. Mated to an 8-speed automatic Tiptronic S transmission, top speed is rated at 244 km/h with a Combined NDEC fuel consumption measured at 6.3 litres per 100 km. An extended start-stop function feature (that deactivates the engine earlier while coasting to a stop), saves more fuel.
