Cadillac Elmiraj Concept 01

We would like to fist bump the boffins at Cadillac for coming up with the stunning Elmiraj Concept, a luxurious two-door grand coupe that defines as “a pure expression of streamlined design and engaging rear-wheel drive performance.” It is now making its first public appearance at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Monterey.

Taking its design cue from the Ciel concept, the Elmiraj sits at 5,207 mm long, 1,930 mm wide and 1,397 mm tall, making it slightly bigger than the current CTS Coupe. With such design profile, the Elmiraj concept may resemble the Bentley Continental GT but Design Director Mark Adams ensures that their latest concept is a testament of the brand’s Art & Science design language. 22-inch wheels round out the majestic look of the coupe.

The cabin of the of the Elmiraj is highlighted by the 2+2 seating layout as well as the implementation of high-end materials such as Brazilian Rosewood and camel leather. The rear seats come complete with valet feature to ease entry and exit while the car’s instrumentation features transparent analog tachometer and speedometer as well as a concealable 10-inch touchscreen that sits just behind them.

Under the hood is an all-new 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8, said to produce a staggering 500 hp and 678 Nm of max torque. Conclusively, we don’t see the reason why Cadillac should not materialise the Elmiraj, which should effortlessly appeal to millionaires around the world.
