Nissin ABS

Motorcycle brake maker Nissin are recalling 5,766 motorcycles from 4 major manufacturers that uses its OEM products, for a faulty Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

A particular model of Nissin’s ABS units are found to have a misaligned inlet valve, which could allow foregin particles into the fluid of the braking system, that could cause the ABS functionality to fail.

The number of motorcycle affected by this recall include: 1,887 units of 2012 – 2013 Triumph Daytona 675 and Speed Triple; 2,561 units of 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300RA; 1,083 units of 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 EX300; and 235 units of 2014 Honda CTX700. Those affected will be notified by the NHTSA on the recall schedule.
