Well, if lady luck is on your side, you might just be able to get one of them, if you are picked as one of the lucky visitor at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2013 (KLIMS13) scheduled to be at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) from 15th to 24th November. Volkswagen is also giving away a new Beetle, but only for a lucky, Maybank customer, visitor.

The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), organizer of the KLIMS13, had announced the visitors prizes when it launched an extensive advertising and promotion campaign for the show, in a ceremony officiated by the Tourism and Culture Minister YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Abdul Aziz. To show support for the upcoming show, most of the automobile manufacturers and media partners were represented at the launching event held at the Citrine Room of One World Hotel earlier this morning.

The launched advertising and promotion campaign for the show is valued at RM7 million in terms of market exposure locally and overseas, with the organizer expecting about 330,000 visitors over the 10 days of the show.

“KLIMS is back again this year to fuel the automotive industry as well as Malaysia’s calendar of tourism events. To place KLIMS13 in the limelight of events to visit in Malaysia, it is necessary that we initiate a resounding advertising and promotion campaign that is driven to generate hype and reach.” said MAA President Datuk Aishah Ahmad.

“KLIMS13 is organized as an instrumental platform to support the exhibitors in promoting their products. We want to deliver an unprecedented crowd for KLIMS13 exhibitors who are making every effort to put up exhilarating showcases and aggressive sales campaigns. The KLIMS13 advertising and promotion campaign engages all possible mass media and stretches across a range of marketing communications channels.” she added.

The show, themed “Efficiency in Motion”, is set to showcase a range of motoring machines from cars and bikes to commercial vehicles, concept cars and new vehicle launches. Tickets are at RM15 for adults on weekdays and RM20 on weekends and only RM5 for children 12 years and below. Additionally, there’s also a package of RM30 on weekdays and RM40 on weekends for families with up to five children.

The aforementioned car prizes are to lure in more visitors apart from the multimillion campaign which covers TV, radio, print, digital, outdoor and social media medium in the country and regionally.
