Proton Holdings Berhad has launched a new contest called Pandu & Menang, which is open to the Malaysian public with a valid IC or passport and drivers license. Winners stand to chance to win daily and weekly prizes including a 42-inch LED TV, gadgets and cash prizes worth more than RM400,000 in total. Grand Prize winner will drive home the new, limited edition Proto Preve LE.
Those who are interested to enter the contest should head over to a Proton showroom to test drive any Proton model and fill in the test drive form. The contest is divided into two areas – one is via SMS, where participants will need to answer two questions correctly and respond in the fastest time to win the daily prizes.
The other portion of the contest requires participants to upload a creative picture with the Proton test drive unit on Facebook to win weekly prizes. However, only the SMS contest participants who places a booking and registers his or her car within the contest period will be in the running to win the Proton Preve LE.
Limited to only 100 units, the Preve LE features an all-new body kit, leather seats, 17″ rims as well as six airbags. Available only in Solid White, the new Proton Preve LE is priced from RM79,688 OTR (Peninsular Malaysia).
The contest will end on 17th December 2013.
PROTON PREVÉ LE AS GRAND PRIZE FOR PROTON’S NEW PANDU & MENANG CONTEST
KUALA LUMPUR, 19 October 2013 – PROTON Holdings Berhad (PROTON) today launched an exciting
new contest for the Malaysian public, called “Pandu & Menang”.
The contest, which also begins today, will run for 60 days and ends on 17 December 2013. Winners stand
the chance to win daily and weekly prizes which include a 42″ LED TV, electrical gadgets and cash prizes
throughout the duration of the contest worth more than RM400,000 in total. The Grand Prize winner
selected at the end of the contest will win the Proton Prevé LE, a limited edition of Proton’s family sedan,
which was also unveiled on the same day.
According to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, Dato’ Lukman Ibrahim, the main objective of
the contest was to create excitement and visibility of the PROTON brand. “The contest is part of
PROTON’s initiative to acknowledge the support we have received from not only our customers – but more
importantly, Malaysians as a whole. This is also an interesting way for us to invite the general public to test
drive and experience a Proton car for themselves,” he said.
Malaysians and Permanent Residents of the country with a valid IC or passport and drivers license are
eligible to participate in the “Pandu & Menang” contest. To enter, simply head over to a PROTON
Showroom to test drive any Proton model and fill in the test drive form. The contest is divided into two
