Perodua looks ready to add a sedan to its long lineup of models for the first time since its establishment with the unveiling of the GMS (Global Model Sedan) Perodua Buddyz concept at the ongoing KLIMS13.
The Buddyz is built on its own platform and features a front face very similar to the Myvi, except it is highlighted with the presence of blue LED headlights and sills. At the rear, the red tail lamp runs across the bootlid, which is painted in black.
Inside is very futuristic. The cabin showcases white upholstery with tungsten-coloured trims on the steering wheel, the back of the front seats as well as on the pillars and door panels. The dash features a simple two-layered construction with a simple centre console that is fitted with a display screen and a dial with an engine start button.
The steering wheel, on the other hand, comes with paddle shifters as well as audio control buttons.
Penned under the watchful eyes of Perodua’s own design team led by Muhamad Zamuren, the Perodua Buddyz could be the first-ever sedan to come out from the second national car maker.
