After launching launching the new Blade 250i SE last month, Naza Bikes today takes another step forward in the local motorcycling industry with the introduction of the new Naza N5 at the Naza Automall in Petaling Jaya.
Like the Blade lineup, the N5 is a product born out of the existing collaboration between Naza Bikes and Korean motorcycle manufacturer, Hyosung. A sporty bike with attitude and simplicity at it’s core, the N5 is powered by a 249 cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 28.4 hp at 8,500 rpm and 26.1 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The chassis of the N5 comprises of a lightweight steel tubular trellis frame with a 37 mm upside down telescopic fork at the front and a dual swingarm with gas charged hydraulic absorber at the rear. Braking power comes from discs at both ends. The Naza N5 weighs 145 kg.
The new Naza N5 is priced at RM13,988 OTR, but only for the first 500 customers. With an attractive price tag, Naza Bikes looks forward to achieving monthly sales target of 300 units, with customers between 18 to 45 years of age.
Naza Bikes currently assembles its products at its manufacturing plant in Shah Alam. The main conveyor production line has the annual capacity for production of 50,000 units while the big bike production line is able to produce 4,000 units of motorcycle annually. Naza Bikes are currently in collaboration with its partners from Korea, Taiwan and China.
