Chevrolet Silverado Midnight Edition - Main

General Motors has announced the new Chevrolet Silverado Midnight Edition. The blacked-out pick-up truck is currently making its debut at the National Automobile Dealers Association Convention & Expo (NADA)  and will appear before the public at the Chicago Auto Show next month.

Based on a black Silverado Z71, the Midnight Edition adds an array of body parts painted in black including the front grille, bumper, body mouldings, headlamp bezels, fog lamps and tow hooks.

As if there aren’t enough black-painted items, Chevrolet includes a spray-in bedliner, 18-inch alloy wheels shod in Goodyear Wrangler Duractac tyres, as well as special Z71 badges and black bowtie logos as the finishing touch.

Chevrolet plans to produce 5,000 units of the Midnight Edition, which will be offered in either 1500 double-cab or crew-cab variants.
