Lotus is preparing an updated Evora for its unveiling at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The sports coupe has been caught testing in Southern Europe for the first time just recently.
Despite being adorned with full camouflage decal across the body, the 2016 model appears to bring forward new front and rear fascias. For instance, the front end is made more aggressive with a larger grille and tweaked air intakes. It’s difficult to see in these images but the new Evora is said to get new LED daytime running lights placed on top of the intakes.
Around the back, the test mule seems to sport new tail lights and a redesigned spoiler with a center pedestal. The diffuser, which houses an oval tailpipe in the middle also seems to be reworked.
In terms of mechanical, the updated Lotus Evora is reported to have more power – as much as 15 percent – from the same engine used in the outgoing model. As a refresher, the current Evora boasts 276 hp and 350 Nm of torque from its Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre V6 engine.
