The all-new sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro will be unveiled this 16th of May and the company is inviting 1,000 Camaro owners and enthusiasts to witness the ceremonious event, which will be held at Belle Isle in Detroit.
Marketing manager Todd Christensen said, “This is only the sixth time we have introduced an all-new Camaro. We wanted to share the moment with the customers and fans who have helped make Camaro both America’s favorite performance car for the past five years, and a cultural icon since 1967.”
The day-long event will include a number of activities including a Camaro museum display, hot-lap rides in the passenger seat of the Camaro Z/28 as well as meet and greet sessions with the designers and engineers of the iconic model.
The bowtie brand has yet to provide any detail regarding its latest brainchild except for the image shown above, which pays homage to the classic Camaro badge. On top of that, the company has also released a short video clip that teases a disguised Camaro from 0:57 onwards.
