Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift spotted

A photo depicting a refreshed version of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class wearing nothing but a new shade of green has been making rounds online.

Based on the photo, which first appeared on Mercedes-Fans.de, the A-Class seems to carry understated but noticeable exterior changes. For instance, the headlamps feature new detailing while the grille and lower openings on the front bumper are made smaller than before. A front splitter highlights the new look.

Entering its third year, the hatch will also be updated on the inside with a GLA-inspired twin-dial instrument cluster, a new steering wheel as well as upgraded infotainment system. The car is set to offer the same engine lineup, except for the A45 AMG, which could see its 2.0-litre turbo engine tweaked to produce about 370 hp.

The facelifted A-Class is expected to be presented in Frankfurt in September.
