Honda Malaysia has announced that it is extending its faulty airbag inflator recall to a further 46,710 units of various models. Affected models are the City (2008 to 2009), Civic (2007 to 2009), CR-V (2007 to 2008), Jazz (2007 to 2009), and Accord (2003 to 2007).
26,186 units of it is said to be affected by the front passenger airbag inflator while the other 20,524 units, of only the Accord model, is affected by the driver front airbag inflator.

HONDA MALAYSIA EXTENDS PRECAUTIONARY UPDATE TO 46,710 UNITS OF VEHICLE
All current selling models are not affected
Petaling Jaya, 10 June 2015 – Honda Malaysia today announced a precautionary update for another 46,710 units of Honda vehicle. This extension involves 26,186 units of vehicle which include City (2008-2009 YM), Civic (2007-2009 YM), CR-V (2007-2008 YM) and Jazz (2007 & 2009 YM). These models are affected by the front passenger airbag inflator.
There are also 20,524 units of Accord (2003–2007 YM) which are affected by the driver front airbag inflator.
This precautionary effort is to replace the driver and passenger airbag inflators with newly produced inflators for all affected models. Honda Malaysia is taking this proactive measure to ensure customer safety and deeply regrets the inconvenience caused to all customers.
Honda Malaysia would like to assure its customers that all current selling models are not affected.
As of today, there were no crashes or injuries related to this issue reported in Malaysia.
Honda Malaysia will be informing all affected customers via notification letters which will include details of the product update. Customers who receive these letters are advised to send their vehicles to the nearest authorized Honda dealer for inspection.
The replacement works will be carried out once the parts are ready, and the costs of parts and labour will be borne by Honda Malaysia.
