Multi-millionaire boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather continues to expand his impressive collection of supercars with this latest acquisition – the limited edition Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita.
How limited? According to Mayweather, who’s not shy of showing off his millions on Instagram, there’s only two units of the Trevitas in the world and the unit he acquired is No 2 of 2. The hypercar was sold to Mayweather for an eye-watering US$4.8 million.
Making the CCXR Trevita so special is its unique coating solution that turns conventional black carbon-fibre weave into a sparkling, silvery white shade. The boxer is known for his affection for white cars, so it’s no surprise the Trevita caught his attention.
In terms of performance, it will only take 2.8 seconds for Mr Mayweather to move from 0 to 100 km/h, thanks to an AMG-powered 4.8-litre supercharged V8 engine pumping out 1,004 hp and 1,060 Nm of torque.
