2016 Lexus GS Facelift 04

Lexus is preparing for busy days at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, where the fourth generation RX will make its European debut alongside several other new models.

First introduced at this year’s NY Auto Show, the RX SUV brings an amalgamation of sharp, striking lines with curves that represents the brand’s current design language. The vehicle will most likely be showcased in the form of the RX 450h hybrid alongside the RX 200t.

Lexus says the RX is the best-selling model in its 26-year history. With a sales of around 2.2 million units since its inception in 1998, the SUV represents three out of ten vehicles ever sold by the company.

Also set to make its first presence on the European soil is the new GS 200t (pictured), which comes with a redesigned front end with bi-LED headlights and a lively 2.0-litre turbo four-cylinder petrol engine under the hood.

Lastly, Lexus will introduce a new Sport grade for the CT hatchback and IS sedan. The package will be available in the continent from September.
