Terminal Bandar Tasik Selatan - TBS - Main Hall - 1

In a move to reduce traffic congestion, provide better safety and comfort for commuters, and to eradicate rampant ticket touting, the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) has announced that the Northern Corridor Bus operations will be relocated from Pudu Sentral to Terminal Bandar Tasik Selatan (TBS) effective 1st November.

The relocation will involve 545 out of 635 bus operators as it affects Northern destinations like Perak, Penang, Kedah and Perlis.

The TBS, according to SPAD, has the capacity to operate in an efficient and orderly manner, boasts modern amenities, and has connections to the LRT, KTM Commuter, KLIA Transit and taxi services. It’s also equipped with electronic listing boards and features a centralised ticketing system that supports zero tolerance policy towards ticket touting.

SPAD also said that the decision was made after discussions with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), Urban Development Authority (UDA) and the affected Bus Operators.

Pudu Sentral, on the other hand, is said to serve as a short haul bus services and stage bus terminal which includes trips to Tanjung Malim, KLIA 1, KLIA 2 and Seremban.
