With the standard model launched late last year followed by a Turbo RS version a few months later, Suzuki has introduced another variant to its compact Alto range, the Suzuki Alto Works, at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
Looking very much the same as the Turbo RS version, the Works variant looks to feature the same sports body kit with large air dam, fog lamps, side sill extensions and chrome headlight bezels. The only difference we can see is the wheel style, red calipers and some Works decals.
The interior also looks the same as the Turbo RS except for the Works specific body-hugging Recaro seats with red contrast stitching, floor carpets, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a sportier instrument cluster.
Under the hood, the R06A 660cc 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, which makes 63 hp and 98 Nm of torque is mated to 5-speed short-stroke manual transmission instead of the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) five-speed transmission with paddle shifters on the Turbo RS.
