Teasing the all-new Fiat 124 Spider for its global debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show next week, the Italian car manufacturer has released three postcards on its Facebook fanpage, showing the silhouette of the roadster against famous European cities background.
With London, Rome and Madrid as the background, Fiat are saying that the 124 Spider will make a few more stops in Europe before revealing the car at the show in U.S.
Apart from the silhouette, nothing much was revealed about the Fiat 124 Spider. However, we do know that it is based on the latest Mazda MX-5, sporting similar body shape.
No details on engine specification was given, but rumours are saying that it might get a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or automatic transmission. Others are also saying that an Abarth version will be produced using a 1.75-liter engine and a DCT gearbox, supposedly taken from the Alfa Romeo 4C.
