Bugatti Niniette 02

What happens when Bugatti and renowned boat builder Palmer Johnson join forces? An uber-luxury Niniette sports yacht, that’s what.

In case you didn’t know, “Niniette” was the nickname of Ettore Bugatti’s daughter Lidia. The yacht will be offered in three sizes – 42, 63 and 88 feet – with prices starting from 2 million euros for the smallest model. Pictured here is the PJ63 Niniette, which boasts two salons and all sorts of accommodation for up to four guests and a cabin crew. The thing costs a hefty 3.25 million euros.

The Niniette is built on a carbon fibre hull with titanium elements and three choices of wood trims for the deck. Design elements are taken from the brand’s iconic classic cars – the flowing lines are inspired by the curvy Type 57 C Atalante while the proportions are characterised by the Type 41 Royale, for instance.

Without mentioning what will power the Niniette, Bugatti says the carbon fibre sports yacht has a top speed of 38 knots, which is about 70 km/h. Not as blisteringly quick as the Veyron but with that level of opulence, who needs speed?
