Nissan Winter Warrior Concepts

Driving through snow can be really tough and dangerous, even with winter tyres. Nissan, however, delivers a sweet punch to winter’s face with its trio of Winter Warrior concepts.

Set to braze the cold at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show, the Winter Warrior lineup comprises one-off versions of the Pathfinder, Murano and Rogue crossovers. All three are equipped with Dominator heavy-duty track systems courtesy of American Track Truck.

Finished with matte-black frames, the custom-made tracks measure in 48 inches long, 30 inches high and 15 inches wide – sizeable enough to tackle even the most demanding snowy terrain. While the fitment requires modifications to the suspension and wheel wells, other components including the drivetrain are “factory fresh”, the Japanese automaker claims.

Not only that, each vehicle feature an array of accessories from the automaker’s catalogue such as cargo area protectors, all-season floor mats, roof rail crossbars and rear bumper protectors. There is also a 9×9-foot hatch tent for those crazy enough to go camping in the winter. Nissan Design America’s custom matte red-chrome body wrap ensures the car to stand out against the white backdrop.
