Novitec Rosso is one of the several tuning houses that specialise in modifying Ferraris. The Italian-based company has recently announced the new N-Largo S performance package for the F12 Berlinetta, which follows the sold-out N-Largo package released last year.
Penned by German designer Vittorio Strosek, the N-Largo S is seven centimetres wider at the front and 17 cm wider at the rear thanks to a carbon fibre aerokit that was tested in a wind tunnel. The kit comprises a new front bumper design with a central front blade and even larger air intakes, combined with an air outlet on the hood to deflect the hot air from the radiator over the car’s roof.
Rolling on 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels wrapped in sticky Pirelli P Zero tyres, the F12 N-Largo S also sports carbon fibre side mirrors and air deflectors on the air intakes on both sides of the windshield. The rear section highlights a new bumper design with gills on each side, a carbon fibre diffuser as well as a roof lip spoiler and a carbon fibre aerofoil. Dark-tinted tail lights finish the supercar’s new, sinister look.
Depending on level of specifications, changes in the cabin are minute, save for the newly designed carbon fibre paddle shifters. According to Novitec Rosso, customers have the option to restyle the interior with materials such as carbon fibre, leather and Alcantara.
Like the F12 N-Largo that came before it, the F12 N-Largo S boasts 781 hp at 8,600 rpm and 722 Nm of torque at 6,400 rpm. The 6.3-litre V12 – which packs 730 hp and 690 Nm in its standard form – has been enhanced with the addition of remapped ECU and a high-performance exhaust system. The latter can be upgraded to an Inconel lightweight exhaust that comes with remote controlled butterfly valves.
The result is a Prancing Horse capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in three seconds, and to 200 km/h in five seconds. Top speed is rated at 350 km/h.
Handling is taken care of by Novitec Rosso’s sport springs that leave the car sitting 40 mm closer to the ground. Too many speedbumps in your area? Fret not, as the F12 N-Largo S is equipped with a hydraulic system that can lift the front axles by 40 mm.
