The newest LaFerrari, teased earlier this year and later leaked in scale model form, is Ferrari’s new limited edition special series aimed at clients and collectors looking for the joy of feeling the wind in their hair when driving a supercar.
Details on the car will be revealed at the Paris International Motor Show, although all available samples of the supercar have been sold after a special preview to clients, and the order book has been closed.
Powered by a 6.3 litre V12 that generates 800hp and peak torque of 700Nm paired with a 163hp electric motor, forming the Hybrid Kinetic Energy Recovery System (HY-KERS), the supercar would unleash a total of 963hp and over 900Nm of torque, similar to the original LaFerrari.
Ferrari said significant and extensive modifications have been made to the chassis with the aim of retaining the same torsional rigidity and beam stiffness as the coupé version.
The car’s aerodynamics have also been further honed to guarantee the same drag coefficient when driving in the open configuration.
