Despite 2016 being a challenging year for the automotive industry, Peugeot Malaysia saw some success with the launch of its 408 e-THP which saw positive response from the public, and the company plans to build on this success with more new models in 2017.
Moving forward, it will be launching five key models next year, namely the 208 PureTech, 2008 SUV PureTech, All-New 3008 SUV, Traveller and All-New 5008 SUV, as part of its plans to improve its range of offerings to its customers.
Official distributor for Peugeot in Malaysia Nasim Sdn Bhd had this year announced an investment of RM5 million towards various services, including setting up a new Technical Centre, Body & Paint Centre as well as offering 3 years of Roadside Assistance at no charge, and the company will continue to further strengthen this in 2017.
Naza Corporation Holdings Automotive Group chief operating officer Dato’ Samson Anand George is positive on next year’s outlook, and is confident Peugeot will continue to demonstrate its agility and adaptability in an ever-dynamic marketplace, especially with launch of the key models.

The PureTech engine boasts an efficient fuel consumption of 4.2 litres for every 100km and churns out 205Nm of torque as early as 1,500rpm.
