Lexus Malaysia today introduced the 2017 NX 200t Special Edition crossover SUV and new IS sport sedan.

Both models have been improved without an increase in price, and in the case of the New Lexus IS, three of the four variants are also priced less than before.

The NX Special Edition received a restyled front end with new LED headlamps and fog lamps for better lighting, and comes with Power Back Door, Panoramic Sunroof and also smart card key.

The model also has an exclusive black theme which includes dark film trim, a larger newly designed black 18-inch alloy wheels, black spindle grill and side mirrors.

For the IS, the exterior appearance has also been refreshed with an overall design change for its bumpers, headlights and taillights to reinforce the Aggressive Design concept adopted for this generation.

The model line is available with a choice of two powertrains and four variants – the four-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine with the IS 200t Premium, IS 200t Luxury and IS 200t F Sport variants or the Lexus Hybrid Drive in the IS 300h.

One of the highlights of the 2017 model is the wider centrally mounted EMVN screen which has been significantly increased from seven inches to 10.3 inches.

This new, high-resolution monitor presents larger and clearer images and has a split-screen view so that different information displays can be presented simultaneously, making viewing easier at a glance as well as providing more information to the driver.

All the new models sold by Lexus Malaysia come with a comprehensive factory warranty of five years with unlimited mileage.

The NX 300h and IS 300h also have an eight-year battery assurance programme for the hybrid battery pack.

Complete aftersales support is available at eight locations in Malaysia, with professional technicians who have been extensively trained by Lexus.
