Customers of selected new Vespa models are now entitled to free riding lessons for a B2 licence in a collaboration between sole importer and distributor of Vespa vehicles in Malaysia Naza Premira Sdn Bhd and Metro Driving Academy, in support of government’s efforts to make riding safer.

Naza Premira COO Farouk Faisal said although it is common knowledge having a riding licence is compulsory to operate a motorcycle, many motorcyclists in the country don’t comply with this law.

On the other hand, if customers already possess a motorcycle licence, they can opt for six months free petrol instead, worth RM300, under the “Vespa, Why drive? Let’s ride…” campaign.

“Our motto has always been to ensure all our students pass their riding licence test.

“If they don’t, we will make sure they are retrained until they pass,” said Metro Driving Academy managing director Mat Aris Bakar.

The promotion, available at all authorised Vespa dealers, will end on June 30, however Farouk said if response is positive, it may extend the promotion period.

It is eligible with purchases of the Primavera ABS, Sprint ABS, GTS 150 and LXV 150 in silver only.
