Procara Entertainment Sdn Bhd, together with Perbadanan Putrajaya will be organising “the first Malaysian lifestyle motoring auto show carnival”, MotoNation 2017 at Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) this December 1 to 3.

The event, which will be held annually, is also the first event in South East Asia which combines a Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumers (B2C) platform.

It will host an array of sectors including educational, banking and insurance as well as related ministries and government bodies.

The carnival is expected to be a gigantic hosting hub for various parties such as modern cars and bike manufacturers, automotive parts accessories suppliers, support and service suppliers, tools and workshop suppliers, cosmetic supplies spa suppliers and also raw material suppliers.

Besides that, MotoNation 2017 will be joined by private garage owners, performance clubs, car and bike clubs and engineering companies, as well as collections of automobiles by collectors, VIPs and royalty.

All commercial exhibitors will be allocated in PICC’s indoor area which isĀ opened to all business matching visitors with a coupon fee which includes free full day parking and a complimentary drink, and the coupon is fully redeemable at the official MotoNation store.

All exhibitors, VIPs and sponsors will also be given after hour cocktail receptions Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 8pm for private business matching and networking.

The outdoor area, open from 10am to midnight, will be filled with outdoor activities including concerts and stage performances, inflatable playground, kids’ Go-Kart, hot air balloon, drift taxi experience by professional drifters, motorbike stunts, RC car races, motocross shows and virtual reality experience, as well as an array of food trucks.

It will also contain all private NGO clubs from classic cars and bikes, retro, modern, modified, racing, drift and performance cars.

More than 500,000 visitors are expected to attend the event over the three-day period.

There will also be a SEA region custom bikes competition which will see participants from Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.

The grand prize winner will receive a flight ticket, hotel accommodation, transportation and participation in AMD Intermot in Cologne, Germany.

Next year, MotoNation plans to create a custom car competition whereby the winner will be sent to participate in SEMA in Las Vegas and in 2019 it plans to host a green technology competition among universities and colleges and winners will be sent to Germany for the green tech convention.
