Maxx ‘N Go, an app by MaxxOil which provides a platform for customers to request oil change services from wherever they are, plans to expand its operations nationwide, including in East Malaysia, by next year.
The services are currently available only in the Klang Valley, and will expand into Ipoh, Penang, Johor and Kelantan within the next few months.
The company said this app is the first in Malaysia to provide instant door to door on site oil change service, especially designed for those in the city who face common problems such as lack of time to send the car to workshops for regular oil change service, long queues at workshops, and high bills for servicing.
All customers have to after downloading the app is to click the ‘Book Now or Pre Book’ button, and the Maxx ‘N Go service crew would arrive soon after.
The company claims it would take between 30 and 45 minutes for the mechanics to arrive, depending on traffic and location, if called using the ‘Book Now’ button.
Service fee is transparent and fixed, with oil filter, workmanship and delivery all included in the quoted price, and payments can be made via either cash or credit card.
The crew will also carry out standard 15 point checks on battery health, tyre pressure and fluid checks, among others.
The service operates daily from 9.30am with last call at 5.30pm.
Since its soft launch in December, it has had over 15,000 downloads, and now services between 20 and 30 customers a day on average.
The fleet of service vehicles currently consists of 15 cars, and employs 20 mechanics to carry out the services.
The brand today signed agreements with Grab and Federation of Motor & Credit Company Association of Malaysia (FMC) – Kuala Lumpur & Selangor as its business partners, as well as with Tengku Djan Ley and Datuk Wira Lee Chong Wei as its brand ambassadors.
