Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has ramped up production of the recently launched Tiguan in an effort to meet the demands of Malaysian consumers.
The SUV, which was launched last month, is available in two variants – the Comfortline and Highline – priced at RM148,990 and RM168,990 respectively.
“We are pleased to announce that the Tiguan Highline has been very well-received by Malaysians, and the Comfortline has also caught the eyes of those looking for quality, value-for-money German engineering.
“The Pekan Plant is working hard on its production timeline to guarantee stock availability, and customers can be rest assured that we will be doing our utmost best to ensure and smooth and fast delivery to our new owners,” said VPCM managing director Erik Winter.
The company has also introduced a new colour for the Tiguan – Crimson Red – which is now available for booking.
It is Volkswagen’s most successful SUV, with 2.8 million units of the Tiguan already sold globally.
It comes with five years’ manufacturer’s warranty and five years’ roadside assistance, and for a limited period, VPCM is offering the App Connect function as complimentary in the Highline variant.
