PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will be closing all 134 reload lanes from June 22 to July 2 in order to ease traffic congestion this Aidilfitri holidays.

Its corporate communications head Mohd Nizam Ismail said the public is encouraged to ensure their PLUSMiles or Touch ‘N Go cards have sufficient balance.

“They can reload at 9,200 locations including ATMs, 24-hour convenience stores and petrol stations operating at R&Rs along the highway,” he said.

The highway’s customer service centres will also be operational daily from 7am to 10pm for reload purposes.

Nizam said the number of vehicles vehicles using the North-South Expressway in conjunction with Aidilfitri is expected to increase by 21% as compared to regular days.
