Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) today announced the availability of the S-Class AMG Line, priced at RM598,888 OTR without insurance.
It is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine which generates 306hp at 6,500rpm and maximum torque of 370Nm at 3,500rpm to 5,250rpm, and an electric motor that generates 27hp and 250Nm of torque, which takes it from 0 to 100km/h in 6.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250km/h.

MBM sales & marketing passenger cars vice president Mark Raine said the S-Class has shown great success, and the new S-Class with AMG Line combines luxury and sportiness.

The new variant features AMG bodystyling, distinctive 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, and two visible tailpipes as well as flared wheel arches that visually incorporate the larger AMG wheels and perforated brake discs for all-round improved performance.
The AMG multifunction sports steering wheel, high-gloss black poplar wood trim and AMG sports pedals are sporty highlights in the interior.
Safety-wise, intelligently networked driver assistance and safety systems are able to provide the driver with even more effective support in critical situations and further enhance safety for the vehicle’s occupants and other road users.

The body structure combines high rigidity with a lower weight, and more effective restraint systems help to protect the driver, front passenger and rear passengers in the event of a crash, while numerous post-accident measures are aimed at mitigating the consequences and facilitating any rescue work.
