UMW Toyota Motor will be displaying the all-new Toyota C-HR compact SUV at selected showrooms and venues around Peninsular Malaysia beginning this weekend at the Toyota showroom at Section 19, Petaling Jaya.

The model had made its first appearance at the MAA – Test Drive & Buy Event in May at Setia City Convention Centre.

The compact SUV is powered by a 1.8 litre Dual VVT-i engine and equipped with a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) with sequential shifter.

It comes with a full range of safety features including Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) as well as other features including side mirror puddle lights and follow-me-home headlights.

The C-HR, which was unveiled globally last year, is the second vehicle that has been developed with the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform, Toyota’s company-wide programme to structurally transform automobile design in line with the company’s goal of making better cars.

The design of the C-HR features a diamond architectural theme, and the modulated structure of the cabin gives it an “exciting feel.”

Following its appearance in Petaling Jaya, the C-HR will be on display at the Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) Racing Festival on August 12 and 13 at Batu Kawan Stadium, Penang.

Thereafter, it will be on display at the Toyota Subang Jaya showroom from August 16 to 22, MidValley MegaMall from August 23 to 27 and Sunway Pyramid from September 4 to 10, as well as other locations around Peninsular Malaysia.

More information on the C-HR can be found on the brand’s website and Toyota Malaysia Facebook page, while interested customers can register their interest to receive updates on the model.
