Another brand under the Volkswagen AG umbrella, Bentley is a luxury automobile manufacturer based in Crewe, England. The brand with the winged ‘B’ logo is the direct successor of Rolls-Royce Motors, which Volkswagen AG purchased in 1998. Its vehicles are sold via franchised dealers worldwide with China being the largest individual market. Apart from making luxury vehicles such as the outgoing Continental Flying Spur, Continental GT and Mulsanne, Bentley also has a rich history in Le Mans. The manufacturer entered and won 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930. The latest victory came in 2003, 73 years after it last won the title, when it clinched a one-two victory using two Bentley Speed 8s.
